No. 13 Kent State women's golf will continue its season at Texas A&M as the four seed in the 2016 NCAA Regional, as announced by the NCAA live on the Golf Channel Monday night.
The Golden Flashes are one of 18 teams teeing off at Traditions Club in Bryan, Texas, May 5-7. The low six teams and low three individuals from each of the four regionals will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon, May 20-25.
Kent State received an automatic bid to regionals after capturing its 18th-straight Mid-American Conference Championship this past weekend, setting a new MAC record for consecutive titles for any sport.
