KENT, Ohio – The Kent State gymnastics team was awarded a spot in the Morgantown Regional, on Friday, April 2, for the 2021 NCAA Gymnastics Championships.
The Morgantown Regional will take place on the 10-year anniversary of the 2011 Kent State team's second-place regional finish that rewarded them with the program's only NCAA Championship appearance. This year's 29th-ranked Golden Flashes have been solid and consistent on their way to the team's seventh regional appearance since that historic 2011 season.
"We are really excited about the opportunity to compete in the NCAA Championship tournament," said Head Coach Brice Biggin.
