The Kent State women's golf team will head out west for their first action in the month of March, competing in the Jackrabbit Invitational. The event will be hosted by South Dakota State University.
The Golden Flashes will bring six golfers to the event. First year Kristen Belden will be competing in her first tournament for the Golden Flashes.
The three round, 14 team event will commence with a shotgun start at 11 A.M. EST for both days of competition. Golfers will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by the final 18 on Tuesday.
Head Coach Casey VanDamme, in his 3rd season at the helm of Kent State, was previously the head coach at South Dakota State for both the men's and women's golf programs for seven seasons prior to arriving at KSU.
