With thoughts of last year's Mid-American Conference Championships cancelation still lingering in their minds, members of the Kent State gymnastics program have been attacking COVID-19 safety procedures and protocols over the past several months hoping to avoid the loss of yet another season due to the pandemic.
So far, so good.
"We've gone through three rounds of (COVID-19) testing and didn't have a positive test. (Health officials) felt like we were doing a great job with protocols, so (the first full week of October) they let us start practicing together as a team," said Biggin. "We've had another round of tests since we started practicing together, and they also all came back negative.
