AUSTIN, Texas- The No.16 Kent State women's golf shot a 2-under par 286 in Sunday's final round of the Betsy Rawls Invitational, finishing in second place with a 54-hole total of 3-under 861 at University of Texas Golf Club.
The Flashes (-3) recorded their fourth-straight top-3 finish of the season after trailing tournament champion and host Texas (-10) by seven strokes. Baylor took third place with an 11-over par score, followed by Florida (+16) and Texas Tech (+25) who finished fourth and fifth, respectively.
Kent State's best score in Sunday's final round came from senior Michaela Finn.
