KENT- Mike McNamara slugged a second inning grand slam and six Golden Flash pitchers combined to fly the flag in a 5-4 victory over the Pitt Panthers in front of a sold out Schoonover Stadium.
Ciaran Caughey retired the first seven batters of the game on Tuesday to earn his first victory of the season. Peyton Cariaco earned his first collegiate save, getting the final five outs on Tuesday night.
It closed out a wild night at Schoonover. McNamara hammered a 0-1 pitch over the left center field wall in the second, his second homer in two games.
