BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Kent State women's soccer team earned a massive road win on Thursday night, earning a decisive 2-0 victory over Bowling Green.
The Golden Flashes (8-4-2, 5-2-0 MAC) earn their first shutout in the month of October and hand the Falcons (7-5-1, 5-1-1 MAC) their first loss in Mid-American Conference play this season.
Alanna Raimondo was able to draw a foul inside the 18-yard box in the 26th minute. Alisa Arthur took the penalty kick, firing a shot to her right that was knocked down by the Bowling Green keeper but he ball deflected right back to Arthur.
