PALOS VERDES ESTATES, Calif- The No. 3 Kent State women's golf team finished the Northrop Grumman Regional in sixth place with a three-round score of 868 (+16). Kent State's third-round score of 285 (+1) was its lowest of the tournament.
"I'm so proud of this team," said head coach Lisa Strom. "They showed up for the final round ready to go. We put some birdies on the board and started climbing early. This field is as tough as a national championship and the top-8 make it to match play, so this is encouraging since we were not at our best this week.
