Tallahassee, FLO... After closing out the Trinity Forest Invitational with a spring-best sixth place finish last week, the Kent State women's golf team further improved their high watermark with a fourth place finish at this year's Florida State Match Up.
"The course set up and wind conditions were as difficult as we see in college golf today," KSU head coach Casey VanDamme said. "The ladies competed until the end and we're looking forward to getting right back to it next week."
The Flashes were led all week by Mayka Hoogeboom, who carded eight birdies throughout the week en route to a seventh place finish, continuing to play her best golf down the stretch.
