Jonesborough, TENN... The Kent State men's golf team lept two spots on the final day of this year's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegate, passing MAC rival Toledo to finish the tournament in a tie for ninth.
"We felt we played protective golf instead of being aggressive and that led to some struggles this week," KSU head coach Jon Mills said.
The Flashes were led by reigning Freshman of the Year Jordan Gilkison, who was at the top of his game on Tuesday, carding a 67 in the final round to jump 25 spots and finish the invitational in 15th.
