COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Kent State University men's golf team jumped three spots up the leaderboard for the final round and finished 11th overall at the Robert Kepler Intercollegiate. Kent State finished at 39-over 607 (315-292).
The Flashes drastically improved play in the final round on Saturday as Chris Doody paced Kent State with his even-par score. He improved his score by 11-strokes and finished the day with three birdies. Doody's 36 hole total was an 11-over 153 score and tied for 48th.
Gisli Sveinbergsson finished the tournament tied for 30th at 7-over 149.
