KENT, Ohio – Kent State (17-9) fell on Tuesday in a 11-6 game to Youngstown State (7-18).
The Penguins took a 1-0 lead in the 2nd on a walk, error and single but the Flashes posted a three-run 3rd to get in front. It started with a Reilly Hawkins double followed by a RBI base hit by Nick Kanavas. Luke Burch then walked to put two on. After two outs, Tim DalPorto singled in Kanavas and an error allowed Burch to follow him home.
