YPSILANTI, Mich. - The Kent State lacrosse team (4-9, 1-2 MAC) fell 12-11 against Eastern Michigan (5-4, 2-0 MAC) this afternoon.
Jackie Wolford tied the score, 1-1, five minutes into the first quarter. Shortly after, Peyton Gellin secured a goal to tie the score once again. Zayda Crumpton scored for the Flashes to take the lead, 3-2, into the next quarter.
Wolford recorded a hat trick after scoring two back-to-back goals in the second quarter, bringing the score 5-3. Continuing the Flashes lead, Gellin secured her second goal of the game off a free position shot.
