Kent, OH - After a hard-fought battle in double overtime, the Flashes came up short against James Madison 108-113.
The Flashes started the half with an electrifying dunk from Chris Payton Jr, followed by a jumper made by Cli'ron Hornbeak. Despite the strong start from the Flashes, James Madison did not let up. With eight three-point shots made during the first half alone, the Dukes outshot the Flashes from the three shooting 48.6 percent to the Flashes' 39.3 percent. The Flashes left the first half down by five, 38-43.
The Flashes turned the game around in the second half, with a three-pointer by Jalen Sullinger assisted by Reggie Bass.
