KENT, Ohio – The Kent State University baseball team (27-22, 14-8 MAC) dropped a 7-5 contest to Wright State (38-15, 19-8 Horizon) in its final game at Schoonover Stadium for the 2019 season. The Flashes rallied for four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, but fell short in the late-inning comeback.
The Flashes notched eight hits on the night with two going for extra bases. Junior Cam Touchette led the offense, going 2-for-5 at the plate with two RBIs and a run. Sophomore Michael Turner also recorded his 13th multi-hit game of the season, belting a pair of singles.
