KALAMAZOO, Mich.- The Kent State men's basketball team dropped its road match at Western Michigan on Saturday afternoon, 67-63.
Kent State drops to 13-5 overall and 3-2 overall in MAC Play.
The Flashes used a 17-2 run in the second half to take a 53-43 lead with 9:35 left to play. Western Michigan answered back with an 11-3 run that tied the game at 58 with three minutes remaining. The Broncos used a stretch of key offensive rebounds and second chance buckets to get back in the game and ultimately snag the lead.
Kent State was held scoreless in the final four minutes of the first half and then went the final 4:39 of the second without a field goal.
