Flashes Fall in MAC Road Opener

KENT-Chrishon McCray caught two touchdown passes, including a 42-yard strike in the first half but it was not enough as the Ohio Bobcats defeated the Golden Flashes 42-17 at Peden Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

McCray got loose down the far sideline in the second quarter and Michael Alaimo hit him in stride for the walk-in touchdown to tie the game at seven. The sophomore finished the day with a team-best six grabs for 92 yards and two scores.

The teams traded punts in a scoreless first quarter. Both the Flashes and Bobcats were able to string together a short drive, only to see the defense force a punt.
