KENT, Ohio - The Kent State field hockey team (1-3) lost in double overtime, 5-4, to UC Davis (1-4) this afternoon.
Within the first 10 minutes of quarter one, the Aggies took the lead 2-0. Shortly after, the Flashes converted a penalty corner and Alex Sacker put Kent State on the board with assists from Victoria Tinghitella and Emma Rolston. At the end of the quarter, the Flashes led in corners 4-0.
In the second quarter, Eva Usoz scored to tie the game 2-2. Freshman Maybritt Duwel scored her first career goal to give Kent State the lead 3-2.
