MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Kent State suffered an 88-61 loss to Central Michigan on Tuesday at McGuirk Arena despite a near double-double by Jimmy Hall.
Hall fell one rebound shy of his fourth double-double in the last six games in a 24-point, nine-rebound performance. Kellon Thomas added 12 points, but the Golden Flashes fell to 15-7 overall and 6-3 in Mid-American Conference play.
A buzzer-beating three pointer by Deon Edwin helped the Flashes stay close at halftime, trailing by a score of 38-31.
