Flashes drop third game of the season against No. 20 Texas Tech

Senior pitcher Madi Huck came into Tuesday’s match up against No. 20 Texas Tech with a 0.78 ERA. The right-handed pitcher struggled against a dominant Raiders lineup after shutting down Texas Southern’s offense.

Redshirt sophomore pitcher Andrea Scali got the start for the Flashes. She gave up four runs on four hits over three innings. The pitcher gave up a home run in the bottom of the second inning to Kelcy Leach to left field. The catcher drove in teammate Zoe Jones, leading the Raiders (8-3) to a 9-1 win over the Flashes (7-3).

Huck came into relief for pitcher Scali and threw one inning.
