COLUMBUS, Ohio- Kent State soccer dropped their 2016 season opener 3-0 to Ohio State on Friday evening at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. The Buckeyes notched three first half goals in the win and move to 1-0-0 on the season, while the Golden Flashes move to 0-1-0.
Ohio State's Lindsay Agnew got the scoring started in the eighth minute off long pass from Kylie Knight.
The Buckeye's second goal off the foot of Megh Kammerdeiner in the 19th minute as she controlled a failed clearance and scored from 10 yards out.
