Flashes Down Miami For Third Straight Win

KENT, Ohio- The Kent State men's basketball team (10-4, 7-3 MAC) won its third-consecutive game behind a 30-point performance from senior Danny Pippen as the Flashes defeated Miami, 77-68, Tuesday night inside the M.A.C. Center.

Three other Flashes scored in double figures with senior Tervell Beck scoring 11 points, and sophomore Giovanni Santiago and Gabe O'Neal both adding 10 points each. Junior Malique Jacobs dished out a game-high six assists.

Kent State got off to a fast start and took a 20-10 lead with 9:14 left to play in the opening half off an 8-0 run.
