CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced its women's golf postseason awards on Friday, with the MAC champion Golden Flashes extremely well represented. Kent State is fresh off the program's 26th consecutive MAC Championship, which they claimed on Tuesday with a 28-stroke victory at Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Indiana.
Kent State claimed all three specialty awards as sophomore Veronika Kedronova was named MAC Golfer of the Year, Gracie Larsen was tabbed as the MAC Freshman of the Year, and head coach Casey VanDamme earned the conference Coach of the Year honor.
