LOUISVILLE, Kentucky – The Kent State field hockey team (2-1, 1-1 MAC) dominated their first game against Bellarmine this weekend with an 8-0 win at Trager Stadium. The eight goals are the most goals scored by the Flashes since they played at St. Louis on Oct. 5, 2014.
Kent State was in control the entire game leading in shots (19-7), shots on goal (13-2), and penalty corners (7-0). Katie Wuerstle and Clara Rodriguez Seto lead the offensive attack for the Flashes. Wuerstle finished with five shots, three of which were on goal, while Rodriguez Seto finished with three shots firing all of them on goal.
