Bowling Green, OH - The Kent State men's basketball (23-6, 13-3 MAC) team takes home a 79-69 win over Bowling Green Saturday evening. In a back-and-forth game, the Flashes were able to hold onto the second spot in the Mid-American Conference.
In a game with six lead changes and nine ties, neither team seemed to get the lead until the final minutes of the game. Despite the Flashes outshooting the Falcons in the first half, the Flashes struggled with fouls and the Falcons took advantage shooting 92.3 percent from the charity stripe. The Falcons kept the momentum up going on a 12-2 run coming out of the second media timeout.
