KENT, OHIO- The Flashes continued swinging hot bats, blasting four more homers and rapped out 14 hits in an eight-inning 12-2 run rule victory in the Crystal Clinic Wagon Wheel series opener.
It was once again a balanced effort as seven different players drove in at least one run and eight different Flashes scored on Friday afternoon.
After a quiet first two innings, the Flashes erupted for five in the third and never looked back. Mack Timbrook made the Zips pay for an error with a run-scoring double and he was immediately brought home by a Michael McNamara single.
