KENT, Ohio- With the spring semester in the books, Kent State has proven its commitment to academic excellence as the athletic department recorded its highest annual grade point average in program history (3.212).
Thanks in part to a record-shattering 57 student-athletes with a perfect 4.0 GPA, the department recorded its third highest term GPA (3.183) and second highest cumulative GPA (3.223). The previous record for the number of students with a 4.0 in one semester was 41.
