KENT, Ohio –The Kent State University baseball team continued fall action with an 8-3 victory over the Malone Pioneers Tuesday evening at Schoonover Stadium. Greg Lewandoski belted a key three-run home run in the bottom of the third to extend the Flashes' lead over the Pioneers.
"Overall I was happy with how we played," Coach Jeff Duncan said, "We still need to get better and we will. We had some great performances tonight, particularly from Pete Schuler, Ben Carew, and Greg Lewandoski. I thought they had some really good at bats in key situations.
