Kalamazoo, Michigan - The Kent State men's basketball (21-5, 11-2 MAC) team takes the two-game series after defeating the Broncos 82-58 this evening. With tonight's victory, the Flashes clinched a spot in the MAC Tournament.
The Flashes were ready to put points on the board with multiple players contributing. Nine of the ten players who stepped onto the court had at least two points while four recorded double digits. The Flashes outshot the Broncos in the first half shooting 55.3 percent from the field and 46.2 percent from beyond the arch. This is the first time in MAC play the Flashes put up 50+ points in one half of a game.
