Brookings, SD - The Flashes captured their first true road game victory against South Dakota State 82-73 inside Frost Arena.
The Flashes came out strong outshooting the Jackrabbits 50 percent to 33.3 percent from the field and 50 percent to 14.3 percent from the three. VonCameron Davis helped the Flashes take the lead with two back-to-back threes recording double digits in the first half. The Flashes were getting boards and transitioning fast. The Flashes collected 21 boards in the first half and 13 points off of turnovers. Tyem Freeman came off the bench shooting a perfect 3-of-3 from the field and 2-of-2 from the three to help the Flashes lead 41-27 at the half.
