MUNCIE, Ind. – The Kent State women's soccer team fell to Ball State 3-1 in a rain-soaked contest on Thursday.
The Golden Flashes (6-4-2, 3-2-0 MAC) have now dropped two straight Mid-American Conference matchups while the Cardinals (5-5-2, 3-0-2 MAC) have yet to lose a game in MAC play or on their home turf so far this season.
The Cardinals scored a pair of goals in the first half to jump out to an early lead. The Flashes came out of the locker room with renewed life, keeping possession in their attacking half.
In the 66th minute, Alisa Arthur cut the lead in half with her fourth goal of the season.
