KENT, Ohio –The Kent State University field hockey team fell to 5-10 on the season with a 4-0 loss to No. 22 Ohio State (10-6, 3-3 Big Ten) in a non-conference matchup Sunday afternoon at Murphy-Mellis Field. The Flashes (5-10, 3-1 MAC) were led defensively by sophomore Clara Rodriguez Setó with a key defensive save in the second half, her fourth of the season.
Ohio State carried the momentum for the entirety of the game, netting the first goal of the day in the 18th minute when Katie Pyle fired a shot cross goal into the left corner of the cage.
