FAYETTEVILLE- The Golden Flashes battled for four quarters and held Arkansas to 308 yards of offense in a 28-6 setback at DW Reynolds Razorback Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes were able to control the first half. Kent State ran twice as many plays as the Razorbacks, outgaining them on offense and holding the ball for over 19 minutes in the opening stanzas.
After trading punts on both team's opening drives, the Flashes went on an 11-play, 51-yard drive that set up a 48-yard field goal from Andrew Glass to give Kent State a 3-0 lead.
