KENT- The Kent State Golden Flashes baseball team split the Sunday doubleheader against Northern Illinois Huskies. The Flashes dropped game one by a score of 8-14 but responded in the series finale 10-9.
Kent State would take two out of three from Northern Illinois to clinch their first series win of the Mid-American Conference season.
Game One
Northern Illinois would strike first on Sunday scoring one in the first, two of the second, and one more in the third. Kent State responded with a 2-RBI single in the fourth off the bat of Hunter Klotz.
