Flash Suffer Defeat in Final Non-Conference Contest

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Kent State lacrosse completed their final non-conference tie of 2025 on Wednesday, falling 17-3 at Louisville. Sophomore goalkeeper Syndey Davis set a season-high 14 saves playing all 60 minutes in goal in the contest.

The Flashes (6-8, 1-2) responded to Louisville's opening goal through an impressive effort from distance by Zayda Crumpton, who improved her team-high season goal tally to 31 to make the game 1-1 in the first quarter. Crumpton also led Kent State with two caused turnovers and two ground balls in the tie.

Following the Flashes' opening goal, Louisville took firm control of the contest with 12 unanswered goals.
