KENT, Ohio – On a night when Kellon Thomas scored 17 points and Jimmy Hall added 15, Kent State's bench provided an even bigger impact in an 84-77 win over Canisius on Saturday night at the M.A.C. Center in game two of the Continental Tires Las Vegas Classic.
The reserves contributed 41 points, 30 of the team's 45 rebounds and helped the Golden Flashes survive stretches in both halves when foul trouble forced head coach Rob Senderoff to protect Hall on the bench.
