KENT, OHIO- The Kent State University field hockey team was recognized as a Zag Field Hockey/ National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division-I National Academic Team Award recipient on Tuesday as announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.
It is the 18th consecutive year the Golden Flashes have earned the Award, achieving the distinction in every season since the honor was created in 2003.
"I am very proud of our athletes' hard work on and off the field this past fall," head coach Kyle DeSandes-Moyer said. "We place a strong emphasis on our academic success and we are grateful for the support our athletes receive to achieve this award for another year.
