KENT, Ohio- The Kent State University field hockey team (10-8, 5-1 MAC) turns its sights to the Mid-American Conference Tournament, competing as the No. 1 seed on Friday, Nov. 8 at 11:30 a.m. in Oxford, Ohio. Kent State will face Longwood in the semifinals game. The Flashes finished the regular season 5-1 in conference and clinched the MAC regular season championship, falling to only Longwood in the season finale.

The Flashes concluded the season after dropping to Longwood in a hard fought double overtime game, 2-1. Senior Laila Richter paced Kent State with four shots, while scoring the Flashes only goal.
