KENT, Ohio – The Kent State football team (4-6, 3-3 MAC) stormed back from 21 points down in the fourth quarter to keep their bowl hopes alive, beating Buffalo (5-5, 3-3 MAC) on a Matthew Trickett game-winning field goal as time expired.
"What a great game and a great effort by the kids and the team," said Head Coach Sean Lewis. "Credit to Coach Leipold and his team. That is a great team that they have over there. But this is what MACtion is all about. The kids competed like crazy and the last three weeks taught us how to finish and how to see things through.
