BOWLING GREEN-Kyle Jackson had three hits and a fine play on the final out of the game to secure a 4-2 victory over Bowling Green on Sunday, completing the sweep and earning head coach Jeff Duncan his 300th win at Kent State.
Eric Chalus struck out six in his 5.1 innings of work, allowing only one run on five hits. Mitchell Scott earned his second save of the weekend, getting the final six outs of the day for his fifth save of the season.
The teams traded first-inning homers on Sunday with Jackson hitting a solo shot to lead off the game for the second-straight day.
