HAMPTON, Va. - Kent State (10-6) earned its second straight victory to close out the Virginia Duals Saturday at Hampton Coliseum with an 18-14 win over Campbell. The Golden Flashes won six bouts, including four of the first five weight classes.
Senior Chance Driscoll wrestled up a weight class at 149 and came through with a key 3-1 decision over Zachary Barnes. Filling in for an injured Nick Monico, Driscoll scored a second period takedown and an escape in the third, giving the Flashes a 9-3 lead.
"Chance is the ultimate team player," Head Coach Jim Andrassy said.
