Doyon, Phaewchimplee Named WGCA All-American Scholars

For the third straight year, Kent State students Josée Doyon and Wad Phaewchimplee have been named Women's Golf Coaches Assocaition All-American Scholars, as announced by the WGCA this week.

The honor was given to 828 women's collegiate golfers in Division I, Division II and Division III who have maintained a minimum of a 3.50 cumulative grade point average.

Doyon received the honor in all four years of her Kent State career. She also earned Academic All-MAC recognition and was a First Team All-MAC recipient. Doyon graduated this spring with an impressive 3.94 GPA, earning her degree in political science/criminology and justice studies.
