Kent, Ohio- In a battle between two of the best teams in the Mid-American Conference, the Kent State soccer team fell 3-1 to Western Michigan at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium.
The loss marks the second in a row at home for the Golden Flashes (5-4-2, 2-2-1 MAC) while the Broncos (6-1-5, 3-0-2 MAC) remain one of only two unbeaten teams in conference play.
The Flashes were able to strike first with a goal off the right foot of Jules Dolinski. The freshman netted her first goal in the 17th minute when Alanna Raimondo played a pass to her just inside the 18-yard box, Dolinski took a touch and put the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
