WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Kent State gymnastics team scored a season-high 195.325 to win the Lindsey Ferris Invitation behind freshman Rachel DeCavitch's star performance in just her second collegiate meet.
"I am extremely proud of the way this team bounced back from last week's performance," said Head Coach Brice Biggin. "They did a wonderful job of picking each other up and staying mentally tough all day."
DeCavitch won the all-around competition with a score of 39.400. She finished in first place on all four events and set a career-high on each event. She posted a 9.
