KENT, OHIO- Kent State senior quarterback Dustin Crum was recognized by a pair of award organizations for his efforts in the Wagon Wheel victory on Tuesday night.
Both the Walter Camp Football Foundation and the College Football Performance Awards took notice of the Kent State signal caller, naming Crum the Offensive Player of the Week (Walter Camp) and Honorable Mention Offensive Player of the Week (College Football Performance Awards).
Crum became the first player in Kent State history to throw for three touchdowns and run for two more. It's just the fifth time in program history that a Kent State player accounted for five touchdowns.
