Denver, Colo – The Kent State soccer team (0-2-1) fell, 1-0, on the road to Denver (3-0-1) to wrap their weekend road swing at DU Soccer Stadium on Saturday night.
The Pioneers scored the lone goal of the match in the 39th minute on an own goal off a DU corner kick. Denver held on for its fourth shutout of the season and have not allowed a goal this season.
Junior Cameron Shedenhelm led the Flashes with four shots and placed two on target. Denver outshot Kent State, 14-9, but were even in shots on target, 4-4.
