KENT, OHIO- The Kent State Golden Flashes, led by head coach Sean Lewis, have hired C.J. Cox as the team's new secondary coach.
Cox comes to the Golden Flashes after three years as the Cornerbacks Coach at the University of Montana. With the Grizzlies, Cox was in charge of the pass defense game plan, analyzed defensive film and worked with kick and punt returners. The Grizzlies went 10-4 in 2019, their last played season and made the FCS quarterfinals.
"We are excited to welcome Coach C.J. Cox and his wife Madison to our FlashFAST family," head coach Sean Lewis said.
