CLEVELAND – Kent State football wide receiver Chrishon McCray has been named Mid-American Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
McCray set career-highs with 213 receiving yards and three touchdowns during Kent State's game against Ball State this past Saturday. His scores came from 24, 63, and 57 yards out, and totaled 90 yards after the catch on the day. McCray's career performance puts him seventh on Kent State's all-time single game receiving list and is the best by a MAC player this season. Dating back to last season, McCray has racked up at least 161 yards in three straight games against conference opponents.
