KENT, Ohio - The Kent State lacrosse team hosted Central Michigan on Senior Day at Dix Stadium on Saturday for their final home game of the season. But despite a strong showing and early lead, the Golden Flashes couldn't quite get past the second-ranked Chippewas, falling 14-10.
Prior to the start of the game, 12 members of Kent State lacrosse were honored in their last game in front of their home fans. They are as follows:
Abby Jones and Megan Kozar had especially nice Senior Days, with Jones, the all-time Flashes goal leader, scoring four times in this one, while Kozar's two goals gave her 100 career points in a Kent State uniform.
