KENT, Ohio – For the second year in a row, Kent State softball senior Maria Cegledy has been named to the Academic All-District® 5 Softball Team, selected by CoSIDA, the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) announced on Thursday.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Honorees now advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot.
Cegledy recently completed her undergraduate degree in exercise science with a perfect 4.0 GPA and earned CoSIDA Academic All-America® second team honors in 2019.
